The introduction of the Ferrari 456 GT - Automatic and the holiday season were more than enough reason for the FCA-Southwest Region to gather over 250 members and friends to a presentation of this latest model. Mr. Gian Luigi Buitoni, President, and Mr.Gianpaolo Letta were both present from Ferrari North America, as well as Mr. Philippe Lancksweert, General Manager of both the Beverly Hills and San Francisco stores. Once again, our hosts outdid themselves providing valet parking and a beautiful display of food and wines, accentuated by the mechanical magistri of the new automatic transaxle and it’s attendant driveshaft and torque-tube. Technical details and discussions of automatic transmissions in Ferraris followed, with comments favoring this particular pairing.
