Meet Bill Makepeace and fellow FCA members in Malibu for a scenic drive along the coast and mountains to the world-class Mullin Auto Museum in Oxnard for a docent led tour of their latest exhibit: Citroën.
Citroën was founded in 1919 and has been known for engineering excellence and their use of aerodynamics to improve performance and reduce fuel consumption. The Citroën exhibit at the Mullin covers the history of the marque from the earliest cars and covers all the iconic mass produced models. In addition to the mundane models, the collection includes
several custom bodied Citroën DSs by Henri Chapron, the iconic French coachbuilder who created special cars for the rich and famous.
If you have not had the pleasure of visiting the Mullin you owe it to yourself to experience one of the premiere auto museums in the nation. If you have visited the museum before you know what I mean, but have you seen the current exhibit? Either way please join me and your FCA friends for a day of driving fun, enjoying historic automobiles in an elegant venue and we will enjoy lunch overlooking Oxnard harbor after the museum tour.
