PLANES OF FAME MUSEUM
WHERE WARBIRDS FLY & AVIATION HISTORY LIVES

Saturday, September 16, 2017

Join Bill Makepeace and fellow FCA members for the second annual McDonald’s to Chino Airport event. This year we will leave the oldest existing McDonald’s restaurant in Downey and take back roads for a relaxing 60 min. drive to the oldest independently operated aviation museum in America: Planes of Fame Air Museum established in 1957.

Their mission is to preserve aviation history, inspire interest in aviation, educate
the public, and honor aviation pioneers and veterans. Planes of Fame has over
100 aircraft, many flyable, including all the famous ones and even some obscure “birds” from around the world which span the history of aviation.

We will enjoy the following highlights in addition to museum entry:
Reserved parking, Tour a WWII Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, Special Presentation:
Strategic Bombing During WWII, a speaker panel of distinguished aviation experts, historians and veterans is featured. Includes lunch at Flo’s Airport Café.

All included for $47.00 per person.
