Casa Del Herrero Tour and Luncheon - Montecito Saturday, August 7th, 2010
Tour begins at 10 am. We will have the unique opportunity to tour this masterpiece of the Country Place era. Few of Montecito’s legendary estates remain essentially unchanged. The Casa del Herrero, designed by architect George Washington Smith and completed in 1925, is noted as one of the finest examples of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture in America, is included on the National Register of Historic Places, and in January 2009 was designated a National Historic Landmark. Organized drive from Calabasas area to Santa Barbara. Delicious French Country Cuisine three course luncheon after our tour at Stella Mare’s in Santa Barbara. Please select your entrée of either Petit filet Mignon or Sautéd Sea Bass when you register for event. Served with Endive & apple salad and Lemon cake with caramelized mascarrpoone cream and vanilla sauce. Tour and luncheon $85. per person.
